1-yr-old among dozens allegedly thrashed by forces in Tral | KNO

Forces on Monday allegedly thrashed dozens of civilians including one-year-old Anouba Gulzar in Wagad village of Tral township in Pulwama district. Anouba’s father Gulzar Ahmed Dar was detained by forces on Monday morning, reports said. “His all family members including his old aged parents and wife were severely beaten as they tried to save Gulzar from getting detained,” reports quoting locals alleged. Another child namely Wasim Ahmed Dar (11), son of Shabir Ahmed Dar was also hit by forces, they said. He was admitted to sub district hospital Tral. “We received three injury cases including one infant with serious abdomen trauma injury. They are undergoing treatment,” doctors at SDH Tral said, according to reports. Forces also detained seven persons and wounded 13 including two infants. Locals alleged that forces even did not spare kids as they hit them with guns resulting into their injuries. The incident took place on Monday morning after army vehicles were passing through the Wagad village. Police officials have denied the involvement of police in the incident. REPROT / PHOTO BY : KL
